Farmers’ package not stopped on demand of specific party: ECP
APPISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday clarified that the commission did not stop the prime minister’s package for farmers on demand of some specific political party.
An impression has been created in a section of press that the ECP has stopped the “package for farmers” on demand of some specific political party, said a press release issued here. This impression is totally fallacious as the decision of partially stopping the said package has been taken upon media reports and dozens of complaints received by the commission directly in this regard.
