Judges’ detention case – court seeks Musharraf’s medical report

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday ordered the prosecutor to provide a copy of former president Pervez Musharrf’s application seeking withdrawal of arrest warrant, and sought Musharraf’s medical report in judges’ detention case.
State’s counsel Nadeem Tabish pleaded the court to grant him time for the preparation to argue against Musharraf’s application seeking withdrawal of the arrest warrant, which the court allowed. The court had issued Musharraf’s arrest warrant for failure to submit the medical report against which Musharraf’s lawyer Ilyas Siddiqui had filed an application. The court later adjourned the hearing until October 16 on the request of the prosecution lawyer.
