Private schools acknowledge to return fees
APP

ISLAMABAD - Private educational institutions have decided to take back their decision of fee hike and return overcharged money to the students.

Sources from the Education Ministry told APP on Friday that unjustified fee hike by private schools was not acceptable therefore the government took action against those involved in fee hike in their respective institutions. After the special directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to shut all those schools, reluctant to return the overcharged money to students, the private schools have agreed to take back their decision. Parents of the students have lauded intervention at the prime minister’s level for providing them relief against the fee hike by private institution and taking timely action against them.

“We are happy and satisfied over the decision of the prime minister on the fee issue”, Nadir Khan, a parent remarked. Waheed Ahmad, father of another student said that PEIRA could not handle this issue, so the prime minister himself has to take action against these schools. Due to the fee raise by private institutions, a number of parents had shifted their children to other schools charging less fee that had affected the education of their kids.
