Asad Murtaza Gillani laid to rest

MULTAN: Mukhdoom Asad Murtaza Gillani, who died in the Mina stampede, was laid to rest in the premises of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed Mausoleum on Monday evening.
Earlier, his funeral prayer was offered at the Multan Cricket Club Ground. A large number of people from various walks of life, noted politicians and parliamentarians including Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Pir Sadaruddin Rashidi, Yusuf Raza Gillani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Javed Hashmi, Pir Wajahat Hussain Gillani, Ali Musa Gillani, MPA Ehsanuddin Qureshi, MPA Muhammad Ali Khokhar, Riaz Fattiana, Shoukat Basra, Shiekh Tariq Rasheed, Hamid Saeed Kazmi and Mazhar Saeed Kazmi attended the funeral. Strict security arrangements were made by the law enforcement agencies on the occasion.
