Both Modi and Imran are against CPEC: Rana Sanaullah

FAISALABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah assailed PTI chief Imran Khan on Friday by stating that both him and Indian premier Narendra Modi did not want work on the China-Pakistan Economic Project to continue.

Addressing a press conference in response to allegations poised by Imran Khan during is Raiwind march, Sanaullah slammed the PTI chief for using harsh language against PM Nawaz Sharif.

"What was the point of your rally today?" he asked. "Imran Khan should apologize to the people of Pakistan for the derogatory language he used in today's rally."

Rana Sanaullah said that both PTI chief Imran Khan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not wish to see the completion of the CPEC project. He claimed that Imran had spoken the language of Modi during the Raiwind march held on Friday.

"You talked about closing down Islamabad today, during your rally. Pakistani nation will reject you. Neither will Pakistan close down, neither will Islamabad close down and neither will work on CPEC stop," he said.

Rana Sanaullah said the whole nation will tell Imran Khan to sit back and wait for elections 2018. He mocked PTI's Raiwind rally and claimed that 17,000-18,000 people had arrived from all over Pakistan to attend PTI's rally.

Imran Khan held his much publicized Raiwind march on September 30. The PTI chief threatened street agitation after Muharram if PM Nawaz did not hold himself accountable for the Panama Leaks controversy.
