Chairman Military Committee NATO lauds professionalism of Pak military
RAWALPINDI: Chairman Military Committee (CMC), NATO, General Petr Pavel, who is on official visit to Pakistan, called on General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, General Rashad and General Petr, during the meeting, discussed matters of mutual interest with emphasis on geo-strategic situation and security challenges.
The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in fight against terrorism.
Earlier, upon arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, the visiting General was presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent of tri-services.
