Lawyers support government against Indian threats: SCBA
ISLAMABAD: President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) assured on Tuesday that if federal government makes right decisions against Indian war propaganda, lawyers’ association will fully back it.
While addressing a press conference, SCBA President Barrister Zafar Ali said India has triggered a cold war through media and threatening Pakistan with surgical strikes.
He said that Indian propaganda is aimed at China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and to divert world attention from violence in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Barrister Zafar Ali suggested the government to apprise the United Nations about Indian threats to revoke regarding Indus Water Treaty. He advised that case against India should be filed in UNHCR with support of Russia and China.
Barrister Zafar expressed his disappointed over silence of Western countries on Indian threats to Pakistan and said that Indians are peace loving people.
