PM, Army Chief discuss national security, situation at LoC
ISLAMABAD: The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif on Monday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House and discussed national and regional security.
Sources said, in the meeting, the two leaders discussed three key issues that included India aggression at Line of Control, security situation at western borders and implementation on National Action Plan (NAP).
The Army Chief briefed PM Nawaz over the success of operation Zarb-e-Azb and the plan of action by the security forces on the implementation on the NAP.
The Premier expressed confidence in the response given by the Pakistan security forces against Indian aggression at LoC.
