Imran announces new date for PTI’s Islamabad Dharna

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran khan has extended the date of Islamabad Dharna for three days.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with senior party leaders here Monday, Imran Khan announced, “Islamabad rally has been postponed for three days and now it will be held on November 02.”

The much-anticipated Islamabad Dharna was originally scheduled for October 30.

Imran said he had been hearing that the government was thinking for crackdown against PTI rally. “If it is true then we are also ready to face it,” he said.

Khan said if government stays peaceful during their protest rally so would they.

Imran Khan warned the government to avoid threatening the protesters, adding that it would ultimately cost them (government). “At present we are only demanding resignation of the PM and after it you would lose the government”.

PTI Chief stated that Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari seems standing at the same platform.
