PM’s nomination papers for PML-N’s intra-party polls submitted

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders submitted the nomination papers for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for intra-party elections, a local news channel reported.

The nomination papers were filed by Pervaiz Rasheed, Saad Rafique, Asif Kirmani, Amir Muqam and Sabir Shah among other leaders. The electoral process will be completed under the chief election commissioner’s supervision.

On the occasion, Khawaja Saad Rafique – while talking to media persons – revealed that the elections will be held for ten posts including central president, chairman, six senior vice presidents, secretary information and secretary finance.

Rafique replied to a question by saying Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan wants to destabilise the democratic system prevailing in the country and declared that ‘democracy will prevail and Pakistan would progress by leaps and bounds’.
