Govt successfully dealt with terrorism: minister
By: PPIISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government has successfully dealt with the challenge of terrorism through effective policies during the last three years.
Addressing the launching ceremony of 'Pur Azm Pakistan' programme here on Thursday, he said that today's Pakistan is much better than that of 2013 in many respects, including law and order situation. He said that bomb blasts were a matter of routine three years ago but today, the menace has been controlled to a large extent.
He said that all political parties and relevant institutions have played their due role to achieve this objective. Paying tribute to the martyrs, he said that minorities who became victims of terrorism are equally respectable for the nation. He urged the youth to document the struggle for achieving the goal of peaceful Pakistan.
