Raheeq Abbasi assures to vacate Pak Secretariat today

ISLAMABAD: The opposition jirga held dialogues with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on late Thursday night, Geo News reported.

Speaking to media PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi said they had recorded their protest over the statements against their chief in the parliament.

Abbasi informed the jirga that PAT protesters had vacated parliament lawn.

PAT leader assured that protesters would be removed from Pak Secretariat and the route for Pak Secretariat employees would be cleared till morning.

Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq said there were several obstacles in the dialogue process. He said the entire nation wanted resolution of the issue at the earliest.

JI leader said statements of ministers were increasing problems.

Haq said they were making efforts to bring a solution to the issue in shortest period of time.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former interior minister Rehman Malik said harsh language should be avoided, adding it is matter of country’s dignity and survival.
