ISLAMABAD – Special Adviser on National Affairs Irfan Siddiqui has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri owe it to the nation to explain motives of their London plan.

In an interview with the Pakistan Television on Sunday, he said that the two protesting leaders must tell the people as to who is behind their London meeting and hidden agenda. He said that Qadri has already confirmed his meetings with Imran and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in London.

The special adviser said that Imran Khan wants electoral reforms in Pakistan while Tahirul Qadri desires to derail the system. Referring to the statements of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Shireen Mazari, Siddiqui said that leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were confused themselves where as no institution wants mayhem in the country.
