Pakistan threatened more by corrupt system than foes: Siraj
INP

PESHAWAR – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Monday said that Pakistan was largely threatened by corrupt system than its enemies.

“We need to talk about Pakistan, setting aside all personal interests,” talking to journalists here, he said. He said that it was hoped that crisis would be resolved soon, adding that jirga was working outstandingly well.

The JI chief said that the relevant stakeholders would be brought to the table of negotiations. He said that Pakistan had suffered huge damages due to undemocratic system and practices in the past. He said that 80 per cent of the matter between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and the government had been settled. He said that Pakistan could not bear to have more dictatorship practices.
