ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said by-elections in constituency NA-149 Multan have been boycotted after party consultation.
He said that the PTI was a political party and the decision to boycott by-elections had been taken after due consideration. We shall soon reveal the reason why none of the PTI’s member would contest the election against Javed Hashmi, he added.
Qureshi addressed Javed Hashmi stating that he needs no reason to meet any diplomat in clandestine. He further said that he had been the foreign minister of Pakistan and was more acquainted with diplomatic ethics and etiquettes than Javed Hashmi.
