Dr Abdul Wahab laid to rest
By APPKarachi: Eminent educationist and former Vice Chancellor of the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and the University of Karachi, and former Director IBA Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab, who died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness, was laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon at the graveyard adjacent to Karachi University.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at Ebrahim Mosque, University Town, KU in which a large number of educationists, intellectuals, senior citizens, social and political leaders, relatives, friends and students participated.
Those who were prominent, including Deputy Mayor Karachi Arshad Vohra, VC, KU Dr. Mohammad Qaiser, Dean and Director IBA, Dr. Farrukh Iqbal, President, MAJU, Dr. Zubair Shaikh, former VC, KU DR. Pirzada Qasim, Dr. Tauseef Ahmed Khan, Ahmad Shah and Dost Muhammad Faizi.
