Imran says he doesn’t consider Ayaz Sadiq Speaker anymore

ISLAMABAD: The opposition parties on Thursday staged a walkout from the National Assembly against the ruling of Speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq for rejecting reference against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The lawmakers of Pakistan People’s Party, Tehreek-e-Insaf and Awami National Party staged walkout from the NA following PTI Chief Imran Khan address in the lower house, where he strongly criticized Ayaz Sadiq’s ruling.

Addressing the NA, Imran Khan said, “I don’t consider Ayaz Sadiq Speaker NA anymore because he is not neutral.”

“Speaker accepted reference against me and rejected the same against the Prime Minister”, he said and added that instead of taking action against PM, Ayaz Sadiq is doing so against him (Imran).”

“I have declared all my assets in 2013, therefore, I am not scared of ToRs,” Imran asserted.

“Six years after I bought my flat [in London] I found the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital,” he said.

Khan said, “I wished Ayaz Sadiq was there, I wanted to ask some questions to him.”
