PML-N’s candidate wins NA-63 by-election

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued the notification regarding the success of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate from NA-63 Jhelum in by-elections. According to reports, PML-N's candidate Raja Matloob Medhi won the election, which was held on August 31. Fawad Chaudhry of PTI and candidates of other political parties also contested for the election. As per result announced by ECP, Raja Matloob Medhi secured over 80,000 votes, while his rival candidate, Fawad Chaudhry of PTI bagged over 73,000 votes. It is pertinent to mention here that PTI's candidate has challenged the by-elections in ECP.
