Pakistan, Saudi Arabia enjoy close friendly ties: governor
By: APPKARACHI: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy very close friendly ties and hearts of the people of the two countries beat together.
This was stated by the Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad. He was speaking at a reception on Friday night on the occasion of the 86th National Day of Saudi Arabia. Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Major General Bilal Akbar, members of the diplomatic corps, prominent people from various walks of life were also present.
The governor appreciated that the rulers and the people of Saudi Arabia had extended assistance to Pakistan at the hour of need. The Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Karachi, Mohammad Abdullah Abdul Daim said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have deep rooted, historic and brotherly relations.
He said that Pakistan is a citadel of Islam which is acknowledged by the Saudi rulers and the people. The governor along with Saudi consul general cut the cake. He also extended felicitation on the national day of Saudi Arabia.
