Bless the Unblessed Pakistanis

“Essential items’ prices
shoot up in quake zone.” So says a news
item.
I call this disconcerting trend a vivid indication
of poor governance by the government and a mockery
of the Islamic spirit at the individual level.
God bless the unblessed Pakistanis who are crushed
under the rubbles as the rehabilitation and construction
schemes continue. The sad part of it is that people
are looking up to corrupt officials and shady
custodians of religion. The situation prompts
nothing but pain.
