In June 1948 the nation had
gone heads over heels in ecstasy when the Pakistan
budget crossed the psychological barrier of Rupees
100 crores. Today the young Omer Ayub has presented
the nation with a budget of more than 109800 crores!
Not bad for Pakistan to have come nearly eleven
hundreds times more in a matter of 57 years. Had
our leaders been sincere Pakistan economy would
have been one the most enviable ones in the world.
