Every One Has a Role to Play

We need to frame a long-term program so that we can determine where we are today and where we need to be 10, 20, 30… years hence. In implementing the program priorities have to be clearly defined.
Step 1: Education. The school in ICF produces hafizs and very intelligent kids. So far about 11 kids have become hafizs Mashallah, and they have also obtained nearly 4.0 GPA. They excel in studies at schools and universities. So we need top-rated schools.
All masjids should have SAT, math and science classes. There are many individuals who would be prepared to teach. All we need is a program.
We have Sunday schools in all masjids all over. We now need to take the next step. If we can finish the school in ISEB (the school which is half built and has stopped)in two months time then about 1000 to 1500 kids could be educated there in two shifts. Make Dua. Inshallah we will do it.
Concrete steps, well defined plans and genuine desire with a positive attitude and clear cut directions are what we need.
We should take one step at a time. Also a close involvement with the society is what we need. Nobody will give anything to us. We have to struggle. If we want to do good in this country we have to work and make dua. Do your best for this country. We live here, work here, and will be buried here. This great country of ours USA needs great Muslim minds to sustain its phenomenal growth, especially in times like these. Ask any kid born here: who are you? “I am an American,” will be his reply.
Please get out of your slumber and give these kids a chance. Each one of us has to play his role.
