& the Maulana

On 27 December 2005, a Geo News headline claimed,
“Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman says that there
is no water crisis in the country that should
necessitate that Kalabagh Dam must be built now.”
Such a statement could only come from someone
who cannot see beyond his proverbial nose. Maulana
Sahib, agreed that there is no water crisis at
the present but would it not be there in the year
2015 and beyond? And, is it not the time now to
take care of that?
