I would suggest that for now
all parties take a pause from abusing and insulting
one another.
Have Muslims gained anything from their demonstrations?
Pakistan is seen on TV as a violent land, where
people burn their own property and get killed
staging hateful protests. People in Denmark have
ignored the whole cartoon incident: I did not
even bother to look at the cartoons. They were
in poor taste and Muslims should have ignored
them too.
In future someone could come up with fresh provocations
against the Prophet. The best way to react would
be to ignore them. Some mischief monger could
provoke the Muslims again and nothing good would
come out if they were to resort to violence again.
