Defeat Musharraf

General Musharraf is bent upon fooling the people
of Pakistan by standing for "fake" Presidential
elections from the same assemblies that elected
him five years back and in the Military Chief's
uniform.
I appeal to the members of the existing assemblies
to defeat his Presidential election bid. He is
now a symbol of the USA's interference in Pakistan.
He represents a rule of military dictatorship
that kidnaps, tortures and kills the very people
who pay for their privileged status with their
hard work and sacrifice. If elected again by the
same members of assemblies, he will not be the
symbol of Pakistan's unity and integrity as envisioned
in the constitution; rather he would be an icon
of manipulation, oppression and coercion.
Current Assembly members must not forget that
they have to face elections in the next few months
and the people of Pakistan will defeat them if
they support this oppressive dictator who is prejudiced
and biased in favor of the ethnic group represented
by MQM.
My appeal to Pakistani parliamentarians is to
reject this farcical elections by defeating Musharraf.
