From Conflict to Peace
By Richard Berman

The world watched as Palestinian and Israeli leaders met in Annapolis, MD recently to renew their efforts at coexistence.
But to truly build a sustainable peace, dialogue at the highest levels of government must be matched by dialogue between ordinary people. Seeds of Peace believes that face-to-face encounters aimed at building trust and encouraging constructive dialogue are critical to making any peace plan work.
While the leaders of today meet in Annapolis, the leaders of tomorrow meet at Seeds of Peace.
Seeds of Peace needs your help for the coming year ”to continue bringing young people together from different sides of conflict” equipping young Israelis, Arabs, and youth from other regions of unrest with tools of conflict resolution and non-violent dialogue.
Your support right now will mean

  • more new Seeds starting at International Camp in Maine
  • deepening connections between Seeds in the Middle East year round through follow-up programs designed to sustain relationships and cultivate leadership skills
  • thousands of others reached with our message of peaceful coexistence, as Seeds influence others in their homes, at work, in schools, and in the community
  • a more empowered network of nearly 4,000 Seeds graduates, many of whom now hold positions of influence in government, business, education, and community service organizations and who continue to be advocates of peace through their careers

"Seeds of Peace, you have found your way into the larger world in so many different ways, and you are forging your own path to peace." - Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan
"Seeds of Peace is greatly contributing to the cause of peace and is vitally important." - Israeli President Shimon Peres
Seeds of Peace is recognized by leaders around the world. Still, the majority of our financial support comes from people like you.
Take this chance to be our partner in peace.
Please help support these hopeful young leaders, working to build a better, safer world for us all.
(Seeds of Peace develops and empowers young leaders from regions of conflict to work towards peace through coexistence and conflict resolution. Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has graduated over 3,000 teenagers and young adults from several regions of conflict and has reached several thousand more in their communities through initiatives such as the International Camp in Maine, numerous regional workshops, educational and professional courses, and adult educator programs, as well as the extensive Seeds network. Participants develop empathy, respect, and confidence, and gain critical leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Many are now in positions of influence such as on the team of advisors to President Abbas, assistant to a member of the Knesset, or working at the World Bank, the United Nations and in TV and radio broadcasting.
