Lighting the Way through DIL

I just read an article ‘DIL San Francisco Gala 2008 Lights the Way’ written by Ras H. Siddiqui, and I am impressed with the efforts of members of the Pakistani-American community as they provide the means for thousands of girls to attend schools in Pakistan. I know the major obstacles the families face there as they send their daughters off to school. The families, along with the many determined teachers and students, are absolutely changing the attitude toward women and girls in that part of the world.
