US Aid and Pakistan's Sovereignty

Mr. Obama and US Congress are offering a long-term military and economic aid package and not surprisingly the entire nation from President downwards in Islamabad is anxiously awaiting it. It has strings attached and most of them have been put in place to benefit India.

Without resolving the Kashmir issue these impositions would capitulate and make Pakistan dependent on the USA and India. The conditions to the economic aid are such as to make Pakistan subservient to India. India could easily manipulate a terror attack on its soil and blame it on Pakistan and this would halt the flow of dollars. This would impair Pakistan economy and create panic in financial markets. Now Pakistan would be even more dependent on the USA and thus unable to stand up to India's evil designs.
Fundamentally, Pakistan should reject the economic aid. It is designed to constrict Pakistan's policy toward Kashmir and it would lessen Pakistan's dignity and honor. Once Pakistan accepts India's hegemony in South Asia, India would make sure that Pakistan does not exist. The USA and European officials have gone out of their way to reassure Pakistan that India is not the enemy. It is this repeated reassurance that makes me even more cynical and mistrustful of the Indo-USA agenda. They could not be more deceitful. India has never accepted Pakistan. India is waiting for the opportunity to hit Pakistan hard and its strategy is crystal clear. India wants to corner Pakistan in collaboration with the Northern Alliance-dominated government in Kabul. India can never be honorable about Pakistan. They have not accepted the "Two Nation Theory" and will never accept it because it belies the very provenience of India.
The core of accepting USA aid with constraints is to trust India. In my view it is a very risky proposition that would undermine Pakistan's sovereignty. Pakistan should insist on aid that has no strings attached and is especially not related to India.
