Can We Count on You?

Me and my friends are working since 2002 to help Mujahid Jilani's family get legal status. Tahir Kameli of Kameli Associates and other lawyers in his company like John Floss, activists like Ashley Moy-Wooten and Mehrdad Azemun and team of ABN and other volunteers had put hundreds of hours since then. Mujahid Jilani and Abida came to the US to seek treatment and better life for their daughter Tooba Mujahid, who was suffering from Cerebral Palsy and skeletal deformity. She was under treatment at Shriner's Hospital when this family was asked to leave in 2002. It is court date after court date for them since then. Now Alina, the younger sister is 13, Ayaan is 4. Though Tooba died few years ago but her grave is in Chicago. Going through all this hardship, this family has never been a burden on US economy. They have never applied or received any financial aid from any government agency.
President Obama has recently announced Morton's Memo. This family meets the criteria in that memo. All this family needs now are few letters from activists, leaders, politicians and organizations. A little effort and time can save this family from deportation. Can we count on you?
