US House of Representatives Declares Genocide in Burma
By Abdul Malik Mujahid

Congratulations!
On Dec 13 the US House of Representatives declared genocide in Burma in a bipartisan vote.
Final Vote: 393 Yay 1 Nay and 39 Abstain
This would not have been possible without you - your duas, time and contributions.
Thank you on behalf of the Rohingya survivors of genocide. Thank you for your support in helping the Burma Task Force work with US and Canadian government to commit $780 million for Rohingya refugees.
When the Burma Task Force was established six years ago, we determined it is a genocide. However, government after government told us to stop using the word. Human Rights organizations such as Amnesty International disagreed with us as well.
But YOU stayed with us.
Thank you for your trust in our leadership, in your contributions that sustained a small team. Through thoughtful strategies we have achieved two declarations of genocide by the Canadian as well as the US governments.
The next step is to ensure security and citizenship for Rohingyas.
That cannot be achieved without full sanctions, minus food and medicine.
We have to get back to work immediately; that is why I am in Washington DC today. This work requires your funding and support.
We appreciate all you have done in the past and ask you to please donate today.
