REVISED

$1 Billion Yearly US Assistance to Pakistan is Small Compensation for Huge losses Pakistan suffers in helping the US win the Cold War.
What is disturbing is that nearly 60% of this money is going towards reimbursing the Pakistani military for its role in the War on Terror through coalition support funds.
Education, a key ingredient to win the war onterror on long-term basis, comes in at only a dismal 3.4% of total US assistance. A much larger portion of the US taxpayer's money must be designated for helping Pakistan immediately start compulsory Basic and Primary Education to EVERY child in Pakistan. This is the ONLY way to win the war on terror by spending least amount of money and ensuring long-lasting results.

PAL-C's commitment to building awareness and educating Members of Congress on issues important to Pakistani Americans have made it a reputable and recognized name on Capitol Hill with an office right next door to the Heritage Foundation. Without the continued support of the community to such an important cause, PAL-C will not be able to reach its ultimate potential – a loss that will affect each and every Pakistani American today and in the future.
