Fees as Low as $10 for Money Transfers
Denver: Western Union Financial
Services, Inc., a worldwide leader in money transfer services,
recently announced a major reduction in service fees, which
will result in increased savings for customers sending money
from agent locations in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California,
and Pennsylvania to the South Asian countries of India, Bangladesh,
Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives.
Customers sending up to $500 will pay only a standard $10
service fee, with an additional $5 in fee added for each incremental
$500 sent.
These new competitive fees, combined with Western Union’s
world renowned speed, convenience and reliability reinforces
Western Union’s commitment to offer more value to its
customers. New pricing plan shown below:

plan allows customers to send money more economically than
before, while still receiving Western Union’s safe,
reliable and fast service.”
The $10 fee was previously available for money transfers in
Georgia, Texas, and Massachusetts but has now expanded to
New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, and Pennsylvania.
Now, thanks to this new, lower price and competitive exchange
rates, Western Union means even more value and savings for
customers, so their recipients get even more money for every
dollar sent with Western Union.
Sending money through Western Union is easy. Customers can
visit one of the more than 46,000 agent locations in the US,
fill out a form, and send the money. Currently, there are
more than 24,000 agent locations across the South Asian subcontinent
with partners including major banks and post offices.
