Park Project
An
excellent presentation that illustrates how one project impacted
the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning & Environmental
Design, Civil Society and Public Policy, will be made on Saturday,
June 11, at 2-3pm at Bing Theater, Los Angeles County Museum
of Art, 5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036 (tel: 323-857-6011).
The speaker will be Cameron Rashti, Deputy Director of Historic
Cities, Support. Mr. Rashti is an architect and project manager
with extensive experience on major redevelopment projects
in North America, Europe and the Middle East. He holds a liberal
arts degree from Dartmouth College, architectural degrees
from Pratt Institute and Columbia University, and is a registered
architect Program of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.
In attendance at the event will be Dr. Hussein Hassouna, Ambassador
of the League of Arab States to the United States (former
Ambassador of Egypt).
