Ambassador Karamat to
Address World Affairs Council

Ambassador
Jehangir Karamat will address the World Affairs Council in
San Francisco on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 6:30 PM.
His talk will focus on regional stability and Pakistan’s
recent economic upturn as well as US regional interests. He
will also take the opportunity to discuss the current and
future state of Pakistan and the US-Pakistani relationship.
General Karamat assumed his current post of Pakistan's Ambassador
to the United States in November 2004 and is slated to be
leaving in June. This will probably be his last appearance
as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US in San Francisco.
Registration for this event will begin at 6 PM and the Ambassador’s
Speech will be at 6:30 PM. For further information, please

The World Affairs Council is located at 312 Sutter Street
in San Francisco. The event will be in the auditorium on the
2nd floor.
