Najeeb Ghauri Elected Vice-Chairman of USPBC

Lahore: Mr. Najeeb U Ghauri, chairman NetSol Technologies, Inc (NASDAQ:NTWK), has been elected vice chairman of the US-Pakistan Business Council (USPBC), an affiliate of the United States Chamber of Commerce.
The primary mission of the USPBC is to increase US foreign direct investment in Pakistan and to strengthen bilateral economic relations between the two countries. The USPBC has elite US corporate members such as the Citigroup, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc, PepsiCo, Inc, The Boeing Company, Raytheon International, Inc, Merck & Co, Motorola, Inc, General Electric Company, NetSol and many others. The US Chamber is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than three million businesses and organizations of every size, sector, and region.
According to a press statement, Esperanza Gomez, executive director of the USPBC, hoped that Mr. Ghauri’s election will bring immense value to the role of vice chairman-elect, and added: “He has been tireless in his commitment to the mission of the Council and to strengthening US-Pakistan business relations. The Council continues to grow and the membership welcomes the experience that Mr. Najeeb brings to the USPBC.”
