OPEN to Hold Third Annual
Conference
OPEN Silicon Valley is holding
its third annual conference “OPEN FORUM 2006: Rising
Tide on Saturday, on June 3rd, 2006 at the SAP Campus (3410
Hillview Ave. Palo Alto, CA).
The day-long conference will focus on the growing optimism,
energy and possibilities in the tech economy today, from
fundraising in the Valley to taking advantage of Pakistan
's emerging business landscape. Building on the success
of the last two conferences, OPEN FORUM 2006 would features
an exceptional group of speakers and thought leaders from
the corporate, entrepreneurial, venture capital, academic
and political communities, including:

• Tom Dyal, General Partner, Redpoint Ventures
• Ambassador Shirin Tahir-Kheli, Special Assistant

The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs and Professionals
(OPEN) is a voluntary, not-for profit organization dedicated
to the promotion of entrepreneurship and professional excellence.
OPEN Silicon Valley promotes entrepreneurship by providing
guidance, mentoring, and networking opportunities to its
members in Silicon Valley. Established in Boston in 1998,
OPEN has chapters in Boston, New York, Silicon Valley, Washington
DC, and Texas. With over 80 charter members representing
the highest echelon of Pak-American business leadership
at its core, OPEN Silicon Valley now has a member and participant
community that is over 4000 strong and growing.
