Islamic Relief Outperforms
Most Charities in America
Burbank,
CA: For the third consecutive year, Islamic Relief USA has
been awarded with a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, the
largest charity evaluator in the United States. Charity Navigator's
stated goal is "to advance a more efficient and responsive
philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health
of 3,000 of America's largest charities."
In a letter to Islamic Relief, Charity Navigator's Executive
Director, Trent Stamp, commended the accomplishment: "This
month we have calculated a new rating for your organization
based on the most current financial information available.
We are happy to announce that Islamic Relief has earned its
third consecutive 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently
allocate and grow its finances. Less than 12% of the charities
we have rated have received at least two consecutive 4-star
evaluations, indicating that Islamic Relief outperforms most
charities in America in its efforts to operate in the most
fiscally way possible. This 'exceptional' rating from Charity
Navigator differentiates Islamic Relief from its peers and
proves that it is worthy of the public's trust."
Throughout our history, says an Islamic Relief statement,
we have worked hard to build the trust of our donors. This
recent award confirms Islamic Relief USA's commitment to managing
a professional organization that fulfills the intentions of
our donors and the needs of the beneficiaries.
Islamic Relief USA has been growing steadily over the last
few years. We thank God Almighty first, as well as all our
donors, supporters and volunteers across the country for helping
us achieve the goals that we all share - alleviating the poverty
and suffering of the world's poorest people, as well as providing
lasting, sustainable solutions to help people help themselves.
