Syed Ibne Abbas
Consul General of Pakistan
• Holds Master’s degrees in Political
Science and International Relations
• Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in
1983.
• Held various diplomatic assignments
at Pakistan Missions aboard: Berne (1989-1992), Geneva (1992-1994),
Canberra (1998-2001) and New Delhi (2001-2004).
• Served at Headquarters as the Officer
(1985-1989) and Director (1997 & 2004). He also worked
as the Deputy Secretary, Prime Minister’s Secretariat
(1995-1997).
• Served as Director General at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (2004-2006)
• He has represented Pakistan and led
Pakistan delegations on several occasions on bilateral and
multi-lateral forums.
• He is married and has three sons.
Consul K.K. Ahsan Wagan
• Masters Degrees in Public Administration.
• Masters in International Relations.
• Masters in International Trade Law and Economics/WTO.
• Started professional career with National Bank of
Pakistan as an Assistant Manager.
• Joined Civil Service of Pakistan in 1993. (Worked
as Assistant Secretary in Prime Minister’s Secretariat-
(December, 1994-October, 1996).
• Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1996.
• Served at Headquarter as Desk Officer 1997 to October,
2000
• Held diplomatic assignments at Pakistani Missions
abroad; Kathmandu, Nepal (November 2000-August 2004). .
