FOP Fundraiser on May 12

Friends of Pakistan (FOP) will organize a fundraiser on May 12 2007 in the Los Angeles area, according to Mr. Sarfaraz Khan, FOP President.
The fundraiser will be held on a grand scale and it is planned to raise one million dollars to buy a plot of land for building a Community and Cultural Center for Pakistani-Americans in the United States of America.
”The concept of the Cultural and Community Center is very wise and we are planning for the next 50 years. This community center will have every facility for our older and second generations,” said Mr. Sarfaraz Khan.
”We will bring top artists from Pakistan to perform live and entertain our guests. Location will be announced later,” Mr. Khan added.
