United for Pakistani Independence Day
The Sheriff of Kern County has congratulated members of
the United for Pakistani Independence Day on their efforts
to organize the 60th Pakistan Independence Day celebrations
on Saturday, August 11 2007 at the Exposition Park (Play

The Sheriff’s message states: As Sheriff of Kern County,
let me congratulate the members of the Pakistani American
Community for coordinating this wonderful event in celebration
of the United for Pakistani Independence Day! Pakistani-Americans
have much to celebrate as this year marks the 60th year
since independence was declared in Pakistan.
The Pakistani community is an integral segment of America,
whose culture demonstrates a commitment to close community
ties and entrepreneurial leadership. These are the ideals
on which America was founded and continue to represent the
path toward making our country a better place to live.
Congratulations to the organizing committee for this event,
and to all of those who celebrate freedom and liberty in
America and Pakistan alike.
Sincerely,
Donny Youngblood
