Azerbaijan Business Delegation Visits LEDtronics

Torrance, CA: A delegation of top business leaders from the Republic of Azerbaijan visited industry leader LEDtronics and its CEO, Pervaiz Lodhie, last week. The main topic of discussion of the delegation with the Torrance-based LEDtronics was how LEDtronics and Azerbaijani businesses could develop partnerships and begin to do business together.
The delegation was led by Azerbaijan’s preeminent Deputy Minister of Economic Development Minister Mikayil Jabbarov. A broad spectrum of business sectors were represented, including technology, banking, land and real estate development, engineering, manufacturing of eco materials, insurance, waste management. agriculture and more.
The Republic of Azerbaijan is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with a GDP growth reaching an astounding 38 percent in the first quarter of 2007. A leading economic performer and a keystone nation in the Caspian–Black Sea region, Azerbaijan provides diverse opportunities for cooperation and offers a dynamic environment for investment.
