San Diego, CA: The Third
Annual Jashan-e-Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated at the
well-decorated Alliant International University hall on April
14, 2007. The Milad was organized under the aegis of The Khuda
Bakash Rehmani Foundation and hosted by Tasneem and Ghulam
Farooq Rehmani .
The Milad began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an
by Ghulam Farooq Rehmani followed by a presentation of Hamd-e-Bari
ta’alla and Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool by Ghulam Farooq Rehmani.
In the naat khawani session the following ashiqan-e-Rasool
presented their naats: Tasneem Farooq Rehmani, Usman Farooq
Rehmani, Zeeshan Farooq Rehmani, Ain-ul-Farooq Rehmani,

After naat khawani, the
Chief Guest Fazilatuz Sheikh Allama Dr. Ghuffran Ali Siddiqi
,who had especially come from New Jersey, delivered his keynote
speech. He made an illuminating address quoting from the Holy
Qur’an about the blessed moulood sharif of our beloved
prophet Sarwar-e-Kounain, Sarkar-e-Medina Sallalaho Eleyhey
Wa Aleyhi Wasallam. He emphasized the fact that love of the
prophet - peace be upon him - is the key to success in this
world and hereafter on the day of judgment when Allah Subhanohu
Wa Taalla will elevate his Mehboob Nabi-e-Akhiruzzaman to
the Muqam-e-Mahmood. After his address, the audience offered
Maghrib prayers followed by salat-o-salam. Allama Dr. Guffran
Ali Siddiqi Sahib led the dua.
The Rehmani family has
expressed its gratitude to all those who participated in this
blessed event and made it a success. “We would like
to extend our special thanks to Ihtisham Khan and Bhabhi Zarina
for their love and support in organizing this blessed event.
Also, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Faisal
Watto, Khurrum Hafeez and Ali Ansari for their help in arranging
the event. May Allah Almighty Bless the entire Ummah and especially
our community in San Diego and may we see more of these celebration
in the years to come,” says a family message.
