Alam Khan Grieved

Rani Alam Khan, wife of prominent community member Alam Khan, passed away on Friday, January 25. Inna lillahe wa inna ilehae rajaoon.

She was the sister of eminent scholar and anthropologist Dr Akbar Ahmed.

Funeral prayers were offered at the Orange County Masjid and she was laid to rest in the Westminster Memorial Park. Dr Akbar Ahmed was among the large number of mourners who participated in her last rites.

May her soul rest in peace and God grant the bereaved family courage and fortitude to bear the loss. (Ameen)
