Congressman Bruce Braley Demands Adequate Security for Imran Khan
Washington DC: Congressman Bruce Braley, Democratic congressman from Iowa, has demanded the US administration to pressure the Govt .of Pakistan to immediately provide the same level of security for Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari that he enjoys himself.
In a letter dated Jan 7, 2007 to President Bush, he also urged the US administration to make accessible all assistance including sending a US investigation team to probe into the brutal murder of two-time prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
Congressman Braley, who serves on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reforms, Transportation and Infrastructure and the Committee on Small Business had also written a similar letter demanding the immediate release of Imran Khan on Nov 20, 2007 to President Bush.
The letter recommends the US administration to urge the Govt. of Pakistan to provide the same level of security that is provided to President Musharraf to Asif Ali Zardari, Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif.
