Ustad Salamat Ali and Azra Riaz Give Scintillating Performance Pictures by YKKB Ustad Salamat Ali and Azra Riaz, a talented husband-wife singing duo, gave a scintillating performance at the Shalimar Restaurant recently. The two have performed on Pakistani television and at many large concerts throughout the world and have won accolades from viewers and lovers of music alike. Their performance at this event, which was sponsored by Pakistan Link, turned out to be equally entertaining. This event, which was organized by a prominent community member, Mrs. Rehana Qamar, the President of Anjuman-e-Taraqqai-e-Urdu, was highly appreciated by the audience and for many the evening turned out to be truly memorable. Salamt Ali has been trained by Ustaad Mehndi Hassan and Ustad Sharif. He teaches classical singing at the National Academy of Performing Arts in Karachi, Pakistan.
