Haji Mohammad Passes away Mr. Haji Mohammad, father of Mr. Mohammad Ishaq, a prominent community member, passed away on June 1, 2008 after a serious illness. He was highly  respected in the community and greatly admired for his humane nature and benevolent traits. A leading poet described him as an extremely  “shafeeq” human being. His death will be widely mourned. This year, the Urdu Writers Society, Inc. announced that Mr. Mohammad Ishaq had instituted an annual award in the name of his father. May the departed soul rest in peace and God grant Mr. Mohammad Ishaq and members of his family fortitude and courage to bear the loss, (Ameen)
