UC Berkeley Urdu Show A UC Berkeley announcement received via email reads: For the last few years, Urdu-speaking students at Cal have worked extremely hard to put together a culture show in celebration of this beautiful language. This year we are carrying on that tradition and making the show bigger and better! Come enjoy an afternoon dedicated to the celebration of the Urdu language, including skits, a qawwali, musical performances, antakshari, shaiyiri, and much more! A portion of our proceeds will be given to YOUR DIL SF (http://www.yourdil.org) Refreshments will be served! TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Tickets will be $5. To purchase, call (415) 948-8127 or look for our table on Upper Sproul everyday from 11-3 pm (weather permitting). Tickets will also be sold at the door.
