Zia Khan Grieved Mr. Riaz Mohammad Ansari, brother-in-law of Mr. Zia Khan, well-known poet and community activist, expired on Thursday, May 1. Aged 50, the late Mr. Ansari had served in the Los Angeles Housing Authority with distinction for a number of years. He had taken early retirement owing to chronic heart illness. He was buried in the Westminster Memorial Park on Friday. The late Mr. Ansari is survived by wife Yasmin Ansari and a daughter and son. May his soul rest in peace and Allah grant the bereaved family the fortitude and courage to bear the loss. (Ameen)
