Qazi Shafi Mohd. & Qazi Asad Grieved

The wife of Qazi Shafi Mohammad and mother of Qazi Asad passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009.  Inna-lillah-e-wa-inna-ilaihah-rajeoon!

Her Namaz-e-Janazeh was offered on Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Islamic Society of Orange County, Garden Grove, CA. She was buried in the Westminster Memorial Park .

According to a press release of Urdu Markaz International, the late Mohtarama Surayya Bano was a poetess and wrote poetry in Persian, Urdu, and Punjabi. She took great interest in literary activities. Urdu Markaz International’s Secretary General Nayyar Jehan has condoled the death of Mohtarama Surayya Bano.

May her soul rest in peace and God grant the bereaved family fortitude and courage to bear the loss.
