SCOPE Seminar on February 28
The Southern California Organization of Pak-American Engineers (SCOPE) is holding a seminar on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. The topic will be "Starting up a Company: A Meeting with Entrepreneurs". The program will include four speakers who have successfully started their own businesses, some in engineering and some in other fields. Some of the entrepreneurs originally studied and practiced engineering, but decided to go into other business ventures. Learn the Do's and Don'ts, what to expect when starting a business, and what not to do.

SCOPE is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, voluntary engineering professional organization formed exclusively for the purpose of providing educational, scientific, cultural, and networking opportunities to Pak-American engineers. The organization seeks to support engineers of Pakistani descent and to provide a forum to interact and pursue activities of a social, cultural, and educational nature.
